Greetings PMAG Members and all PMI & PMF Alumni -
There have been a number of changes in the 2004 Presidential Management
Fellows Job Fair - our previously planned event with OPM has been recast.
Please read the message below to all alumni from OPM Director James. The
planned event will be from 1-4 pm - there will be a formal program including
remarks from the director and a swearing in of current Fellows, followed by
a reception. As alumni, we are invited to both events. Please RSVP as
directed below and NOT to this or any PMAG email address.
I will be happy to entertain questions and relay concerns, please send those
to president at pmag.org.

Dear PMI & PMF Alumni:
I am privileged to invite you to join me as we celebrate the new
Presidential Management Fellows Program, which was authorized by President
George W. Bush with the signing of Executive Order 13318. The event is to
be held on April 5, 2004 at 1 p.m. at the Washington, DC Convention Center,
Ballroom C, at 801 Mount Vernon Place NW.
In support of the event's theme, Presidential Management Fellowship:
Answering the Call to Leadership, I will convey the President's vision for
leadership in the Federal Government, formally announce the program changes,
and officially welcome current program participants as Fellows through a
swearing-in ceremony. Fellows from the Classes of 2002 and 2003 have been
invited to attend this once in a lifetime ceremony.
Program Alumni are also encouraged to attend as our special guests, to
welcome the incoming class of Fellows and to impart the tradition of public
service that has long been served and carried out by alumnists.
The event will coincide with this year's job fair for the Class of 2004
Finalists, who will be on hand to observe the swearing-in and help celebrate
the landmark changes to this prestigious program. A reception will follow
during which we hope that you will welcome the new Finalists and share your
experiences.
The Presidential Management Fellows Program Office will coordinate logistics
for the event. Please RSVP to Brenda Bertrand at (202) 606-0094 at your
earliest convenience.
We look forward to seeing you on April 5th.
Very Truly Yours,
Kay Coles James
Director
U.S. Office of Personnel Management
