Greetings!

OPM's annual Job Fair for Presidential Management Fellow Finalists is almost 
upon us.  I know you all have vivid memories of the chaos and excitement of 
the Job Fair.  The Job Fair kicks off on Monday, April 5th and wraps up on 
Wednesday afternoon, April 7th.  Here's a chance for you to give something 
back to the program and help finalists as they embark on an exciting new 
career journey.

PMAG will be sponsoring a booth at the Job fair on Tuesday and Wednesday.  
Our intent is to provide information and tools to help finalists select the 
right agency and position for a rewarding and challenging experience as a 
PMF.  Last year at the PMAG booth, we had a steady stream of finalists who 
were glad to hear a neutral and unbiased perspective and to have someone 
willing to lend a sympathetic ear.  We passed out hundreds of copies of 
informational materials like the PMI Survival Guide and the PMAG list of 
questions to ask a potential employer.  These and other things are posted on 
PMI Central and on the PMAG web site if you'd like to check them out.

Of course, we'd also like to introduce finalists to PMAG and encourage them 
to consider joining and getting involved in our activities.

The Job Fair booths will run on Tuesday from 9:00 to 4:00 and on Wednesday 
from 9:00 to 3:00.  The big crush is typically on the first day.

If you are able to attend the Job Fair to help out with the PMAG booth, 
please let me know.  Even if its just for an hour or two, your contribution 
would be of great value.  You'll have a great opportunity to meet some 
amazing people and help them form their initial impression of government 
service as Presidential Management Fellows.  You'll also be able to see 
agencies present their best face to the PMFs as they do their best to 
recruit.

(email and phone).  If you are on a tight schedule and can only cover a 
specific time period, please let me know.  If you have some flexibility, 
this would also be useful to know.

I will put together a schedule based on the times you tell me you are able 
to cover the PMAG booth.  I'll send it out to everyone who volunteers.

The OPM Job Fair will be held at the Washington Convention Center - Hall C - 
(801 Mount Vernon Place) which is easily accessible by Metro.
