Dear PMAG members,

A team of current Presidential Management Fellows (PMFs) from various
agencies is designing an Action Learning (AL) Program for the PMF Class of
2003 and beyond. To assure that the AL program meets the needs of the PMF
community, they have developed a survey designed to capture the attitudes,
experience and preferences of former Presidential Management Interns (PMIs)
and other stakeholders. In order to survey former PMIs, the design team
asked PMAG to provide email information for current government employees in
our contact database. We have been assured that as soon as the survey
invitations have been sent out, PMAG derived email addresses will be
deleted. We are confident that we can both support the development of
current and future PMF classes while maintaining our strict policy of
protecting your privacy.

Only PMAG members who have a ".gov" or ".mil" email addresses on record
with us will be part of the sample group randomly selected to participate
because the survey may only collect data from current government employees.
If you receive an email inviting you to participate in this survey we hope
you will show your support by following the link provided. It will take
you to a website where you will be asked to select and then electronically
submit your responses to questions about your PMI experience and other
developmental and leadership topics.

Your participation will contribute to the creation of powerful
action-oriented problem-solving teams that will replace Career Development
Groups (CDGs). These teams will engage current PMFs in addressing complex
government issues. Under this program, participants will examine and
analyze critical issues culminating in deliverable products that are
valuable to senior executives in the Federal government. The teams will
also promote individual, team, and organizational development. If you are
interested in learning more about Action Learning and the PMF Action
Learning Program, please contact Kye Briesath at kbriesath at opm.gov. If you
have specific questions about the survey, please contact Corky Conyers at
ccconyer at opm.gov

Thank you for your support and participation.

Respectfully
Tod Companion
President
Presidential Management Alumni Group
